I got an partial Onlay on tooth #18 which then triggered TMJ. In October they did a root canal because of how much the tooth and beaches were bothering me. After the root canal and when she was taking out the temp filling I felt a pop and a rush of relief about 60% better from my headaches. Till this day my tooth continues to feel as if it’s going to explode even after it killing the roots. My question, can an onlay that is not molded right be fitting too tight on a tooth that is pretty much dead? I want to rip it out. My dentist has filed the tooth down so it doesn’t touch the tooth above putting any pressure on it.
