Root canal sensitivity

Few days ago I started feeling sensitivity on my back bottom molar on my left side which has had a root canal and a crown on it. The tooth right next to it also had a root canal and is covered with a crown. The back one doesn’t hurt when I bite down or tap it. Even when I touch or put pressure on the gums it doesn’t hurt. However, my tooth is sensitive to cold when I drink water or milk. Should I be worried about this? It’s been two or so years since I got the RTC and don’t have dental insurance or anything.

I want to also mention that the tooth next to the one that is sensitive has a file stuck in the canal that the dentist said would be better if left there.
