Hi!
I am a cleft patient with an implant at #10, crown at #9 and veneer at #8. I recently had the temporary veneers/crowns put on. My dentist chose not to do my impressions yet since my surgeon had placed a stitch after my implant exposure and my gums were swollen. But she did prep #8 for my crown (#8 is a crown due to the damage to #8 which you can see in the before picture) and #9 for my veneer and did a temporary cantilever for #10 since I was upset about having to keep wearing the flipper after 7 years.
I am going in Thursday for my impressions and to get my stitch removed. I know the permanents will look different but I am still worried about the proportions of #8 and #9 and want to make sure that there is nothing that should be done as far as shaping the tooth before the impressions.
Also I am aware that #11 is not straight, I am less self conscious about that. Not sure if my orthodontist didn’t think it was a big deal during treatment or it shifted after. I can’t imagine the latter since I obviously constantly wore my retainer due to the flipper. Also I am considering a vermillion trim for my left side, so I am also aware of that.
The first photo is pre-temporaries the rest are photos of the temps from different angles. I just want them to look as even as possible, any opinions appreciated.
Also please excuse the cold sore (from eating on one side with the temp) and yellowing (due to Peridex). photos
