My life is a lie. Have I been keeping my mouth clean wrong? (Question)

Okay, so I never really cared about oral hygeine, routines and good practices. I always just thought whatever, all you gotta do is brush your teeth and sometimes floss. For most of my life I would just brush my teeth and rinse with water (which I hear is a big no no). Anyways, recently I have been looking online about proper oral hygiene including flossing, mouthwash, and brushing and I have so many questions. Here are a few that I had and wanted your opinion on.

Spit vs water rinse after brushing?

So recently I heard that you are suppose to spit out (expectorate) after brushing and not rinse with water, this is because you want to keep the flouride on your teeth because I guess it helps strengthen your teeth? If you don't rinse with water what happens to the loose bacteria, won't they stay in your mouth? Or does it all get killed from the toothpaste and water rinsing doesn't really do anything?

When and how to use Antispectic mouthwash?

I have been using this "Alchohol free Listerine Antisptic Mouthwash" after brushing my teeth everynight. However, I hear that you shouldn't use mouthwash after brushing your teeth because of the same reason you shouldn't rinse with water (removes flouride). If that is the case, when do I really use mouthwash? On the directions it says to use it twice a day (but doesn't say when) on the back. So I am assuming you would use this mouthwash right before brushing. I was thinking I might just use this "Antisptic mouthwash" one time during the afternoon maybe after dinner, what are your thoughts on that?

Do you rinse with water after Antispectic Mouthwash?

So, I understand that you shouldn't rinse with water after brushing because you want the flouride to stay on your teeth. However, with Antispactic Mouthwash it doesn't contain flouride and the one I currently own seems to only contain Eucalyptol, Thymol and Menthol. So like does it really matter if I rinse with water right after?

Flossing before or after brushing?

So it seems like this is a debatable topic with no right or wrong. However, if the point I made where you are not suppose to water rinse after brushing, wouldn't it make no sense to floss after brushing? Like usually after flossiing don't you get the bacteria (and sometimes even small food debris) out between your teeth and onto your teeth? So like if you cant rinse that out with water because you have the toothpastes flouride on your teeth, shouldn't you be flossing before brushing? So like the routine goes like:
Floss -> Rinse with water -> Brush -> Expectorate?

Can I use salt water rinse everyday?

So I hear that rinsing with salt water can actually help with your oral health. If that is the case, can I just rinse with salt water once a day everyday? If so when would be the recommended times?

Sorry for such a long post, and thanks for reading!
