I have fluorosis spots on my teeth and I’ve had bonding done on the top six since I was about 8 years old. I’m now 33 and the last time I had it redone was over ten years ago. I haven’t had enough money for veneers and the last dentist I saw (5 years ago - I know, again it’s due to money issues) wouldn’t re-do the bonding.
The bonding is still relatively intact but it’s starting to wear away on the edges and the edges are stained. I’m very self conscious about it.
I plan on saving up money for veneers but it will take some time.
Is it possible to file away the stained edges? I know it sounds a bit extreme but if it’s possible and there’s a safe way for me to do it, please let me know.
