PERIODONTAL Malpractice??

So I’m so scared because I have been experiencing this issue in my upper right second molar. I kept feeling sharp sensations leading me to obsessively press my tongue upon one of the 4 piece of the molar. Last night I was able to move it so that heard a large pop in my jar (similar to eating Pork Grinds) and now I am in excruciating pain and I am in between jobs so I don’t have any insurance or money.

In 2016 I went to the dentist and told them about this however I wasnt very in knowledgeable about the terminology of what I was experiencing (that’s why I was paying the dentist to evaluate) however I was able to pin point the area of tension and also explain to my dentist that I was experience mobility in my tooth. She said she didn’t see any mobility or gaps as she even did the X rays. I explained of course she wouldn’t be able to see me move the root of the tooth in my gums in real time. She then proceeded to explain it was “all in my head” and to “ease” my mind perhaps it is a groove on the tooth and proceeded to file down the molar. Now after doing my research I have come to find out many things. Without having to study odontology, I have been able to conclude that if any patient is explaining that they are experiencing any mobility with any of their teeth it can either be torn or softened Periodontal ligaments or perhaps signs of gum disease.

** 1. Can I sue my dentist for malpractice for simply filing down the tooth rather than treating the problem after being told what the problem was?** 2. Can I make them treat this for free for not treating correctly and now situation has progress to serious oral health complication and could have potentially been avoided in 2016?
