Thanks to Covid, I'm waiting to get a wisdom tooth out (was booked for 2 months ago). The tooth is coming in a previously empty spot, where my farthest molar had to be removed years ago. The actual pain of the wisdom tooth only comes and goes for the most part right now, thank god. But my cheek is the problem! I'm constantly biting the very back of the inside of my cheek. When I talk, when I eat, when I just adjust my mouth or lick my lips! It can never heal since it happens multiple times a day, and the swelling it causes just makes it worse! Is there something I can put between my teeth and cheek to stop this at least some of the time. Something like what they dentist put in your cheeks when taking x-rays? Some some of cushioning? Anything? Any help appreciated!
