Not sure if this is the best place to post this but I’ve had this for all my life to what I can remember, mint has made my tongue burn like I’ve eaten something spicy but it’s a slightly different burn. It’s really painful and means I never enjoyed mint Oreos or well mint toothpaste/most mouthwashes.
The only info of this existing is on a couple forum posts from the late 90s to early 2000s and there’s no real answer as to what this is or how to fix it.
It’d be nice to just get a name to whatever this is. Again if this is the wrong place to post this let me know and I’ll remove/move it to another sub.
