Had a very deep filling done about a year ago. It took forever to fill and got quite painful at times.
It was one of the deeper molars. Still today, it’s sensitive and I can feel it “stick” if I try to grind my teeth. The pain is very minimal and I don’t see any signs of abscess. It’s just sensitive right in the middle of the tooth. Eating doesn’t trigger anything, strangely enough. The gums seem to be receding more though as food seems to get stuck in that area (especially seeds from blackberries, for example).
Also I do have gum disease and need perio maintenance/deep cleanings. Ever since I started brushing and flossing the right way, my teeth have improved a lot and the gums have receded less (save for some areas). But my breath still smells pretty bad for whatever reason, especially if I drink coffee. My dentist said everything looks fine outside of my gum disease though and I’m not sure why I have bad breath. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
