I have tooth abcess on tooth #30. I had pain starting like mid January and suffered for like 3 days. Than went to the dentist than they proceed to tell me what's up and than prescribed amoxicillin which I took everyone until they finished. The pain went away. The endodontist said they are able to save the tooth and no need for extraction but I am concerned of the infection spreading to rest of body OR especially my brain! How would i know if it did ? I heard it can be fatal and I'm worrying much over here. Do you think it being "untreated" for almost a month , can spread ? Can the x rays pick it up ? how can I be double sure it hasnt spread?? Thank you
