Having bad anxiety about my teeth and wondering if some of my symptoms can be caused by an infection/impacted tooth?

Backstory: I (24F) went into the ER two weeks ago for a very bad allergy attack to a food (anaphylaxis). I ended up being fine after treatment, but got sick with the flu, symptoms starting the next day after my ER stint. That lasted for a week with symptoms like throat tightness, congestion, coughing, sore throat, aches, fatigue, etc. It was a hit by a bus situation. I also had swollen lymph nodes and a stiff/sore neck during this time. No fever but I was taking Tylenol on and off through it for headaches/body aches. The past week, the congestion has continued on and off, as has the neck tightness/soreness. My lymph nodes (under my jaw) continue to be swollen too although they aren’t really hard or painful.

Now, my fear after doing some googling is if my wisdom teeth being impacted could be the cause of this. I have had occasionally on/off jaw pain over the last year (jaw clicking, soreness sometimes especially after I sleep, etc.) I chalked this up to maybe TMJ issues as I do tend to clench my jaw at night sometimes and it would easily go away in a day or two if I made an effort to relax/rest my jaw. I have no evidence per say of my wisdom teeth coming in. I do feel something hard under my gum if I poke around on my bottom left gum behind my molar and it gets irritated if I mess around with it too much (can feel sore after for a bit), but that’s the only thing I’ve noticed. I don’t have pain in my teeth/gums that I’ve noticed, only soreness if I fiddled with the one area behind my molar. None of the areas behind my other molars look or feel abnormal at all. I do often get white spots on my tonsils, but I think they are tonsil stones, which would be unrelated as far as I can tell.

Full disclosure: I have not been to a dentist since I was 15 (at the time my wisdom teeth were not there/a concern). My parents never took us to the dentist often growing up and I’ve just eventually graduated college, have insurance, and feel like I’m in a place to address my dental needs. I know they’re going to harp on my orthodontics because my teeth are not straight at all and I have a large overbite. My parents wouldn’t even discuss braces or anything of the sort. I was planning to go anyway this summer because I will have time off work, so it’s not like I was ignoring all my issues, but holding off a few months would’ve been preferred.

What are the odds that my wisdom teeth can cause these types of issues? I am only worried because these few issues in my neck/lymph nodes are carrying out awhile after I’ve been “over” this flu. I’m wondering if it’s something else. I’m going to schedule to see a dentist ASAP(I have to find one with my insurance), but if anyone could give me advice or insight, that’d be great. I’ve driven myself crazy now with google showing me that I could need tubes in my nose to breathe or have permanent bodily harm if I neglect my teeth and have an impacted tooth that I don’t know about.
