I’m about on my 60th pair, been doing them for 2 years now. 2 years of constant migraines, cut lips and mouth and pain to where I can barely open my mouth to eat.
I notice I have a tooth that doesn’t have a button line up... this wouldn’t be the first time... and I have been keeping them on 22+ hours and chewing the provide chewies (when I physically can stand it.)
Not to mention the sides of my mouth are scarred.
I don’t have my previous liners because I’m out of state until the 1st and I forgot them like an idiot... and it’s literally just one tooth. And these weeks have been so hectic, I haven’t really “examined “ this back tooth with the button until tonight.... I’m not even sure when it stopped moving but again, it’s pretty off. I wish I noticed it sooner now being a week into this pair....Not sure what to do but my teeth are straight and I’m happy with them. I literally only have 2 pairs left and I’m done. However I know with this button way off, it’ll be another version of my dentist being passive aggressive with rude comments... and me laying there in a chair for 2 hours again hearing how I did something wrong. I just can’t do it and I want to quit...
What do I do from here? My nest appointment is on the 2nd... and I would like to keep my progress... can I request retainers for my current movement?
